Printable quilt planner
Updated by Khokhar Sab
Print this one-page quilt planner to keep the finished size, block layout, fabric list and cutting list together. A graph paper grid at the bottom gives you room to sketch the layout. It's free, with no sign-up, and fits letter or A4 paper.
How to use the quilt planner
- Work out the finished size and block layout with the quilt layout calculator, then write them at the top.
- List each fabric and what it's for. The quilt calculator gives backing, batting and binding. The quilt backing calculator shows where the backing seams go, and the fabric yardage calculator covers the pieces.
- Copy the cutting list, then tick each line off as you cut.
- Sketch the quilt on the grid. One square can stand for one block or for a set number of inches.
In the print window, choose "Save as PDF" to keep a copy on your phone or computer.
